What is the aftercare advice?

Anti-Wrinkle injections:

Following anti-wrinkle injections, you must:

Remain upright for 4 hours after treatment.

Exercise the injected muscles periodically for 4 hours after treatment to increase uptake of the Botulinum Toxin.

Not drink alcohol for the first 24 hours

Refrain from heavy exercise for 24 hours.

Refrain from touching the injected areas.

Refrain from applying make-up for 6 hours after treatment.

Not undergo any chemical skin peels/ facial treatments for 2 weeks post treatment.

After your treatment, you will be given a leaflet with aftercare advice which includes the above.

Dermal Fillers:

Following dermal fillers you must:

Refrain from touching or massaging the injected area for the first 48 hours.

Not drink alcohol for 24 hours.

Refrain from heavy exercise for 24 hours.

Not apply make-up for 6 hours post treatment.

Not undergo any chemical skin peels/ facial treatments for 2 weeks post procedure.

Avoid steam rooms/ saunas/ sunbeds/ sunbathing for the first 48 hours.

After your treatment, you will be given a leaflet with aftercare advice which includes the above.

What are the booking fees and what happens if I need to cancel my appointment?

There is no fee when booking a video consultation - however, if you need to cancel, please let me know by email or the 'contact me' form.
£50 booking fee is required to book your face to face consultation. This will be taken off the price of your treatment. If following the consultation, we do not proceed with the treatment (due to unsuitability, or if at the consultation, you decide it is not for you), the full £50 will be refunded.
If you need to cancel your consultation appointment, you will need to give 48 hours notice to receive a full refund of the booking fee. If you cancel within 48 hours, you will receive 50% of your fee back, cancellations on the day will receive 25% of the fee back. If you fail to cancel and do not attend, there will be no refund of the booking fee.
Treatment appointments require a 50% advance payment upon securing the treatment date. If you cancel the treatment appointment with more than 48 hours notice, you will receive the full advance payment back (minus the prescription charge of £30 for anti-wrinkle treatments). If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice, you will receive 50% of the advance payment back, cancellations on the day will receive 25% back. If you fail to cancel and do not attend, there will be no refund of the fee.
Date changes for all appointments with over 48 hours notice will have no charge. For date changes with less than 48 hours notice, a £50 fee will be retained.
Anti-Wrinkle Treatments are offered a free follow-up 2 weeks after the treatment. This appointment must be attended no later than 3 weeks post treatment. If you cancel your follow-up, please be aware, it may not be possible to rebook in the above timeframe.
